BIOGRAPHY

Shelby is deeply interested in the storytelling potential that lies at the intersection between live performance and digital media. She holds a bachelor's degree from UBC’s Fine Arts program in Theatre Production and English Literature, and a master's degree from Toronto Metropolitan University in Digital Media. Since graduation, she has been working in Vancouver’s theatre community as a stage director, designer, stage manager, and administrator.

Select directing credits include: Born Yesterday for Ensemble Theatre Company and The Shape of a Girl with Stonesthrow Productions. As the artistic director and founding member of Wunderdog Theatre, she has spent the pandemic exploring the podcast format and creating audio plays.
