Patron Health & Safety Protocols

Ensemble Theatre Company is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable theatre-going experience and ensuring that our cast, crew, and staff maintain their health. We have implemented the following protocols developed in consultation with public health guidance, and in light of the continued presence of COVID-19 variants.

We encourage you to confirm current protocols prior to your performance; all policies, are subject to change based on evolving guidance. As this guidance is rapidly evolving, so may our protocols.

VACCINATIONS

While we will not be asking for proof of vaccinations for entry, we respectfully ask - out of consideration for the health of our audience, cast, crew, and volunteers - that you only purchase tickets or attend our Festival events if you are fully vaccinated.

FACE COVERINGS

Regardless of vaccine status, patrons are asked to wear face coverings at all times and in all areas of the Theatre, including while seated during the performance. Patrons arriving without appropriate face coverings will be provided a disposable face mask.

DISTANCING

The protocols outlined in this plan allow Ensemble Theatre to safely operate at full audience capacity. As such, there will not be physical distancing between parties in the theatre unless Provincial or Federal mandates change.

SANITIZATION AND SURFACES

In addition to enhanced cleaning procedures between every performance, Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout Waterfront Theatre.

RISK ASSUMPTION

All patrons understand that there is a risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. Those purchasing tickets and attending Ensemble Theatre productions voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

TICKET DELIVERY

Tickets will be delivered electronically by email. We will scan your ticket upon entering the theatre. Ushers will be stationed at doors for assistance.

CONCESSIONS

Concessions will be available in designated areas of the lobby. Patrons may only remove their masks when actively drinking/eating. To help maintain Ensemble’s mask policy, concessions will not be allowed in the theatre.
